Hattie & Nic
These two are two of the sweetest people and become even sweeter when they are together. When I photographed their engagement session I became even more excited for their wedding day. They were just SO good together. So much happiness and so many smiles. (Sure does make my job pretty easy) :)
Flash forward to the wedding day- I arrived at Custer State Game Lodge, and let me tell you it is a dream wedding venue! Everything is all on site, the ceremony, the reception, and hotel! Hattie and Nic choose to have their ceremony outside. With their closest friends and family surrounding them they read their written vows, exchanged rings, and tied the knot! Instead of the typical sand or candle unity service they planted a tree together that they will transfer to their yard back home in Fargo, North Dakota. I thought this was one of the coolest details from their wedding day!
Social hour started and everyone was visiting over wine and the best appetizers. Thankfully the sun popped out for a little bit and we got such a nice series of sunset photos. Those are always my favorite. Hattie is naturally beautiful and made such a stunning bride. She had such glamours details. The diamond hair clip and the jeweled shoes. Tie that together with her strapless jeweled wedding dress and vintage “Marilyn Monroe” Curls. She was just breathtaking! Nic thought so too and never let the chance to tell her pass. It was just the sweetest.
The speeches were said and the toasts were made. Hattie and Nic shared such a sweet first dance, and everyone else joined and danced the night away! I wish these two nothing but happiness and a lifetime filled with love, joy, laughter and many blessings!
